ESPANTANDO A LOS MALOS ESPÍRITUS – CHASING AWAY THE EVIL SPIRITS

Uno de los momentos más intensos de mi reciente viaje a Angola ocurrió con los mucubal.

Nos habíamos dirigido a una zona remota, en busca de esta tribu, tan colorida y pintoresca.

Sin saber cómo, nos encontramos con un poblado que se hallaba celebrando un ritual para espantar a los malos espíritus, los cuales, según me dijeron, habían poseído a varios miembros de la comunidad

Fue espectacular

Travelling along southern Angola turned out to be as exiting as  expected.

Mostly my encounter with the Mucubal.

We had headed for a very remote area in search of this striking as well as picturesque tribe. There we came across a compound where it was being celebrated a ritual against the evil spirits. According to their beliefs, some community members had been possed by those evil spirits and they were chasing them away.

It was something to see!!
