ULTIMO EUNOTO MASSAI EN LOITA HILLS/ LAST MAASAI EUNOTO IN LOITA HILLS

At last! After 4 years behind it, I could finally witness the most spectacular event in Massai culture, the ceremony where the young worriers celebrate the end of worriorhood and wellcome manhood: the EUNOTO. This eunoto took place in, what I consider to be, my secret spot in Africa, which is Loita Hills. I needed to stay for over one month in the big Manyatta – Massai ceremonial compound -, just waiting for it to happen, which, by the way, turned out to be a fantastic experience. Great guys those Massais, I can tell! I made good friends there. If you want ,you can check some of the shots I took there in my website.

At the moment, I find my self pretty busy trying to get my first novel – «I heard accacias whistle» – published. I´m pretty optimistic about it. But I am also envolved in writing a new novel, which will be titled: «Hold my hand». This new story is taking place in Sudán.

At the same time, I find myself trying to carry out with some exhibiting projects for next year, as well as some photography books to be published. We´ll see what becomes of it all.
